My name is Elizabeth Farmer and this is my fifth year teaching second grade. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from MTSU in 2008. I student-taught at LLE and have been here ever since! I could not have asked for a better school in which to begin my teaching career. I owe it all to my wonderful students, colleagues, and administration here at LLE.
I have two children-- Justen (14 years old) and Sara (12 years old). We have lots of pets-- Lucky and Uno (our dogs), Ellie (our guinea pig), and too many fish to name. We love to do anything water-related-- swim, fish, boat, you name it. We attend Fellowship United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro.
I'm originally from Nashville, but we've lived in Murfreesboro for thirteen years. We love it here in Rutherford County. There's so much history. It's really a wonderful place in which to live and raise children.
In my spare time, I love to scrapbook and make cards. I could spend all day in Hobby Lobby! I also love to read. My favorite author is Jodi Picoult-- once I start reading, I can't put her books down! Another place I can't stay away from-- Barnes and Noble!!
In my experience so far, I've learned that every year is a new adventure and I can't wait for this one to begin!
